Well my two predictions were right, but only just! Venus was not a surprise, but the closeness of the mens final certainly was. After my criticisms of Federer in the last blog entry maybe I owe him an apology. Well, not exactly. Really if Nadal had not choked on the two match points in the third set it would have been a routine straight sets victory.Seeing Nadal choke was the biggest, and maybe only surprise of the Wimbledon fortnight.
Who will win Wimbledon...
Submitted by nigel on Fri, 04/07/2008 - 10:01.OK, I know it's late, but here we go. Without the sublime Justine henin, the women's is straighforward. One of the Williams sisters, probably Venus as she is clearly most at home on grass. easy.
