OK, I know it's late, but here we go. Without the sublime Justine henin, the women's is straighforward. One of the Williams sisters, probably Venus as she is clearly most at home on grass. easy.

Men - before the tournament started I would have given a strong nod to Nadal. the mauling federer took in Paris must have dented his confidence severely, also Nadal is playing better and better all the  time. I have been impressed by Federers' progress so far, but Nadal has been even more imperious. Nadal will defeat Federer in the final, probably quite comfortably. Of course safin may upset Fedrerer in the semi, but I doubt it.

Murray? Outclassed by Gasquet, who imploded as he got near the finishing line and became tired and disillusioned. It was obvious that Nadal would not falter andhe duly crushed Murray. Let's be honest, Andy Murray looks a bit lightweight mentally and technically to be a grand slam champion. It will require a strange sequence of events for him to win one. Henman had that chance but failed against Ivanisovic, you can't ask for easier than that Tiger!!!!!
